Implementing appropriate Food Resilience mitigation measures aims to increase the adaptive capacity across various levels – global, national, community and household, to cope with food crises and uncertainties. There is a pressing need to increase the perception of FR Awareness and Preparedness at both household and community levels. Household FR should be part of Singapore’s Total Defence – “psychological defence” pillar – the ability to overcome crisis by the collective will of our people to defend our way of life. To overcome crises, we must become aware in order to be better prepared.
